Spend a cold winter's afternoon wrapped in the warmth of the historic Rex Theater in downtown Galax Virginia, listening to music from the first branch off the Stanley Family Tree, Ralph Stanley II. Known as "Two" the world over, his deep clear mountain voice echos the tradition of his father and uncle, as he literally grew up on stage traveleing with his legendary father, and eventually joining the Clinch Mountain Boys before setting out to do his own style of bluegrass music. Compared vocally to another CMB the great Keith Whitley, Two's music has it's own groove in the bluegrass world.
Theater opens at 2 PM, show begins at 3 PM until 4:30. If you buy a ticket in advance, you can show your ticket at The Galax Smokehouse BBQ that Sunday for a 10% discount off of lunch before the show, then save your ticket stub because you can get that same 10% discount off dinner right around the corner at Macado's Restaurant! Your total discounts off lunch and dinner might well be more than you paid for your ticket!
