A two day workshop featuring three of today's most accomplished upright bass players, Mike Bub, Todd Phillips, and Mike Conner. Over 12 hours of instruction in all things bass, from timing, pulling tone, practice techniques, warm up exercises, amps & pickups, left & right hand technique, and more. Also included is a professional set up evaluation by master bass technician Jerry Fretwell of Fretwell bass. Friday night jam/reception in the ballroom at Holiday Inn featuring John Miller, Bull Harman, Mike Conner, and others. On Saturday night, a special jam mini-concert will take place in the main ballroom, featuring Tony Rice, Wyatt Rice, Todd Phillips, Mike Bub, Tim Stafford, Bull Harman, John Miller, and Mike Conner. Separate tickets (VERY LIMITED SEATING) are available for those who would like to attend this part of the weekend's events.
